Netherlands 0-0 Germany
Joachim Low has reassured Lukas Podolski that he remains in his plans for Germany despite the forward appearing for just 18 minutes against Netherlands.

Podolski, 27, won his 106th cap for Germany on Wednesday night as his nation played out a goalless draw versus rivals Netherlands in Amsterdam.
Despite his impressive haul of international appearances, the Arsenal forward has recently slipped down the pecking order under Low, only playing 494 out of 990 possible minutes.
During the last five Germany games Podolski has lost out to Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, but Low has insisted he still highly values the former Cologne player.
He said: “Marco Reus played on the left wing recently. And he did a great job there in the last few games and scored many goals.
“Lukas’ development in England is good, I like that. He will make a new claim for a starting place next year. He is a very, very important team player, who will get his time.”
In the game versus the Dutch, Low selected Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller, rising Schalke star Lewis Holtby, who won his third cap, and Marco Reus, leaving no place for Podolski. Schalke winger Julian Draxler is another player who could threaten Podolski’s position with the national side.
During Low’s six-and-half years as Germany boss Podolski has played 74 of a possible 89 matches.
